Business Controller

Do you want to be part of our team of professionals? As Business Controller, you will fulfil a partnership role, supporting and challenging the business on financial and operational performance and cost control within your own area of focus. You will provide support to various stakeholders in reporting, monitoring and improving their performance and cost control. In addition, you will have the opportunity to influence and develop our working methods.
 
Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Support the periodic reporting process in collaboration with the financial control team to ensure accurate, timely financial information is available when required.
  • Optimise the reporting process by using existing reporting and analysis tools (such as PowerBI and Business Reporter). You will collect appropriate data sets, compile them in a flexible and user-friendly way and perform analysis.
  • Act as an ambassador for standard business solutions and commonly used tools.
  • Collaborate with management, supporting and challenging them with factual, clear reports and analyses (both periodic and ad hoc).
  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting process within your area of focus and work closely with business partners.
  • Participate in both business and finance projects.
Skills and knowledge:
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a broad controller role.
  • Experienced in using financial applications, BI tools, Excel and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a good understanding of quantitative calculation methods and practical implementation of analyses.
  • Accurate, attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
  • Pragmatic, proactive and focused on business, products and commerce.
