Clinical Evaluation Officer

Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely execution of assigned clinical review activities through efficient and effective use of internal resources and systems, as well as external parties
  • Writing literature review plans and literature review reports and conducting or supervising literature reviews, assessments and analyses
  • Act as scientific advisor and reviewer for publications on performance and safety of DORC products
  • (Co-)author publications on behalf of DORC
  • (Co-)author clinical evaluation plans and reports
  • Preparation of post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF) plans and reports
  • Timely escalation and resolution of quality or compliance issues
Skills, education and expertise:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a medical, biomedical or medical technology field, or completed training as an optometrist or orthoptist
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Familiar with clinical evaluation requirements and able to translate these into pragmatic guidelines for the organisation
  • Sufficient knowledge of statistics to assess data analysis and statistical methodology in scientific publications for scientific validity
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage projects methodically based on business priorities and available resources
  • Ability to critically assess publications and documentation for scientific reliability
  • Experience in conducting science-based literature reviews
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a geographically separated, multinational and multifunctional team environment
  • Experience in technical and scientific writing
  • Effective collaboration within a diverse network of strong personalities
  • Open to improvement opportunities and change to strive for world-class compliance performance
  • Ability to think creatively and proactively identify alternative solutions to problems
  • High ethical standards and personal integrity
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English (both written and oral)
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office suite applications

  • A full-time salary between € 4,250 and € 5,320 gross per month. That's above average, but that's what you're worth!
