Credit and Collections Coordinator US- Exter, NH

The Credit and Collections Coordinator will oversee the credit and collections activities for the organization.  This position is responsible for managing a professional process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, and maintain a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

About the position

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the credit and collections process, cash applications, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Monitor customer accounts and manage credit risk by reviewing credit limits and terms.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customer, sales, and finance teams.
  • Prepare and analyze credit and collections reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage the collections process, including monitoring and following up on past-due accounts.
  • Train and develop team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and polices.

Skills, know-how and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in credit and collections.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and policies including UCC agreements and requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
